By accessing or using CipherDefence (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. No Warranties & Disclaimer of Liability
CipherDefence and its operators provide this tool without any warranties whatsoever. We do not guarantee:
- That the obfuscated/encrypted code will be unbreakable
- That your protected code will function correctly after encryption
- That the service will be available without interruption
- That the service is free from errors or defects
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CipherDefence.
3. Use at Your Own Risk
You are solely responsible for:
- Testing your protected code thoroughly before deployment
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and licenses
- Any intellectual property or legal issues related to the code you encrypt
- Any damage caused to third parties by your use of the protected scripts
4. Permitted Use
You may only use CipherDefence to protect code that you own or have explicit legal rights to protect. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. No Responsibility for Outcomes
We are not responsible if:
- Your encrypted code stops working after obfuscation
- Someone manages to reverse-engineer your code anyway
- Your hosting provider or client rejects the protected files
- You suffer financial loss due to any issue with the Service
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of CipherDefence or any violation of these terms.
7. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Cape Town, South Africa.
